Rwanda Civil Society Platform (RCSP) organized a one day follow up meeting regarding the progress in implementing the recommendations issued during the public policy dialogue on “Analysis of land expropriation and transfer process in Rwanda” held on 30th November,2017, at Kigali Convention Centre. The follow-up meeting was held on 22nd May,2018, at Olympic Hotel, located in Kimironko.
The objective of the meeting was to set up strategies with the concerned institutions for the follow up and draw an implementation plan of the recommendations from the public policy dialogue.
The meeting was graced by the Executive Secretary , Mr. Silas Sinyigaya. He welcomed and thanked participants for having made it for this important occasion. Furthermore, he applauded the Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA), through the Public Policy Information Monitoring and Advocacy (PPIMA III) project for the support provided to RCSP.
The meeting gathered various Government institutions and Civil Society Organizations, which are: MININFRA, MINISTRY of Lands and Forestry, Rwanda Land Management and Use Authority (RLMUA), RTDA, Rwanda Housing Authority, REG, WASAC, NPA, RNGOF, Pro-femmes Twese Hamwe, RENGOF,CLADHO and LAF.
