This year’s Civil Society Public Policy Dialogue was held on 30th November, 2017 at Kigali Convention Centre , the theme of the dialogue was “Analysis of land expropriation and transfer process in Rwanda” , Supported byNorwegian People’s Aid (NPA). The study surveyed different households in 16 sectors from 12 districts across the country.

Over 200 participants attended theCivil Society Public Policy Dialogueat Kigali Convention Centre. The dialogue was attended by Ministries and government institutions, Embassies, Civil Society Organizations, Academia and Citizen representatives from districts. Moreover, it was broadcasted live on Radio Isango Star, Isangano , Ishingiro and Isango TVwith telephone call-ins where the public was given opportunity to directly call and interact with different government officials by asking questions and providing suggestions regarding the theme under the Dialogue in order to improve the service delivery in the implementation of future expropriation projects and land transfer related services.
The dialogue was graced by the Deputy C.EO of Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) Madam Usta Kayitesi and it was attended by Embassy representatives like German, Sweden as well as development partners like DFID, NPA, CTB/BTC,…..
